My everyday makeup routine

People always ask me ' what makeup do you use' and they always say that they expect it to be some fancy posh brand but the cheaper high street brands are just as good and save you allot of money! so here is my makeup routine from cleanse to finish!

Cleanse and Care for your skin

To have great makeup you need great skin! make sure your using all the right cleansers and moisturisers for you, i would personally recommend clinique's 3 step routine, however the toner can be quite harsh on sensitive skin so make sure you get advice before you buy! i love it, its really good for getting rid of all the makeup on my face and the moiusturiser is really lovely and light. for the tester kit its £20 and it should last you a few months using it every day so definatley worth investing in..

Primer, Foundation & Highlighting

Next after my moisturiser has been on and sunk in i use a primer, this vary's from time to time (ive done some primer reviews in my earlier blogs) im currently using rimmel's fix and perfect primer its only £6 and i just rub it on evenly all over my face! :) .. next is concealing and foundation the concealer i use is smashbox pro HD concealer, its a small tube but you only need a tiny bit and its incredible, with a primer underneath it says put all day and comes in a range of colours for all different skin tones.. next is my foundation i apply with my favorite brush, its a MAC  187 duo fibre brush it doesnt leave streaks or lines on the face and your foundation blends perfectly with it.. the foundation i use is rimmel 25hour foundation it lasts ages and is a great colour match & only £8! i then sometimes use YSL touche eclat highlighting pen, it opens up your eyes and its just the best product when your skin isn't looking its best

Powders, Bronzers & Blush!

After ive applied my base, i then move onto powders bronzers and blush! i use a natural collection pressed powder, to lightly dust over my foundation to to keep the matte look that i like, i then apply MAC's pressed bronzer (the matte one not the shimmer) to just underneath my cheek bones, my forehead and my neck, to finish i use benefit's Dandelion blusher, its not too pink and looks amazingly fresh and real on your skin, sometimes if im not wearing makeup i just put a bit of this on so i look more alive! :) it is £23 which is a bit steep for a blush but it lasts a very long time & i would recommend another blush, all of benefits blush range are really nice and there is instructions on there website as to what blusher is best for you!

Eye shadow, Eyebrows & Lips!

For my eyebrows i use a eyebrow powder or 'eyebrow cake' i don't really get on with pencils and because you have to apply an eyebrow powder with an angled brush the results are smother and more defined  any angled brush works but i like to use a synthetic hair angled brush as this way the bristles stay together for longer, i cant really recommend an eyebrow powder to people becuase it depends on how dark or light you want your eyebrows but currently im using a benefit eyebrow powder in dark brown, for eye shadows i always think dusting a matte cream colour over your eyelids makes eyes look so much nicer and more open, its another tiny detail that makes a huge difference, for my eye look i use rimmel and benefit eye shadows to create definition in my crease of my eye and then blend subtle browns to base of my eyelid, i sometimes line with a rimmel liquid eyeliner and use MAC splash proof lash mascara.on my lips i only ever use MAC high tea lipstick, which my previous blog was about :)

Lashes and glue!

I am a huge lover of all fake eyelashes i think the right ones can really enhance your eyes and make your makeup look just a bit more perfected, unless your lucky enough to have beautiful long eyelashes naturally (bitches! :D) i use MAC lashes or lashes that have a natural look to them and not a harsh black line basing the lashes, i apply them with DUO lash glue, or ruby and Millie lash fix glue  and they last all day, however if i am wearing them i always make sure i have some glue in my bag, in case of emergency!

and tah dahh! finished! :) comment if you have any questions xoxoxo

Nude Lipsticks: MAC High Tea review

I had been looking for a nice nude lipstick for ages and every one that i tried ended up too pink or so pale i looked like i had foundation caked onto my lips (bad look!) then i tried this high tea lipstick from MAC's lusture collection, now its the only nude lipstick id recommend, it doesn't bleed or run and has not a glossy effect but more of a sheen to it, it doesn't dry out on your lips or collect and leave that horrible sticky line on your lip! its is expensive at around £13.50 per stick, however it will last you a very long time, ive continued to buy this lipstick and im really pleased with it! id highly recommend it :) happy shopping xoxo

its been a while! makeup reviews boots natural collection doesn't get enough recognition!

so as a makeup artist working on all different types of skin and needing all different colours it can get expensive, but you don't have to spend loads on nice natural every day makeup, boots natural collection is amazing its really good quality products and its really cheap, use a makeup primer under the foundations and they last really well! this brand is really underrated and the products are so good i highly recommend :)
