high end vs high street: false lashes!

I wear false lashes on a regular basis but i also use eyelashes when doing any fantasy shoots or any other work, ive tired lots and lots of different brands with different price ranges, I've found the cheaper eyelashes tend to not always look very natural for a everyday lash, however recently i have come across a brand that I found in asda! that do really natural good false lashes they are called QVS false lashes and come in a range of thickness's and they are around £4.50 to buy! so these are my favourite cheap lashes! next in line is my medium spend lashes they are buy eylure girls aloud have done a version for them, but to be honest i don't really like them too much, but the rest of the range are lovely and are a great investment, however for me with lashes you get what you pay for so my most recommended lashes are the MAC range they are all £10 each at the moment from mac stores but they last for ages and even with the thick ones they can be applied very easily! when it comes to glues my absolute favourite that no one has beat yet is ruby and Millie lash fix, it comes in a tiny like nail polish shaped bottle and the glue lasts for ages! happy lashing!

high end vs. high street: fake tan!

this is the first of my high end vs high street blogs & I've had allot of people asking me about fake tan! I tired lots of different high end fake tans and the best one so far is still st tropez dark self tanning mouse, it's not streaky or flakey and you can apply 1 layer for a golden glow or 2 for a dark tan, this product is amazing however it is around £30 for the large bottle and if your a faketan-aholic like me then it doesn't last long so I tested lots of Cheep brands and to be honest most of them were awful! Too flakey or too orange/dirty looking untill I come across st Moritz which is kinda cheap version if st tropez, the spray one I didn't get on with well I found it difficult to apply and I didn't really like the colour however they do a mouse fourmula now, it gives just as good coverage as st tropez however you have to top it up more often but it's only £2.99!! which is a massive saving! they are both as good as each other and are both great products!

Big Budget vs Small Budget!

everyone loves to splurge on beauty and heath care but when you dont have £££'s to spend on it all why should you miss out! in these next few blogs il be reviewing the best products with high end vs high street with everything from haircare to fake tan's!

hair products review

Sooo ive tried loads of different hair products in the past as im quite picky with what i put on my hair, so as toni and guy was on offer at boots i decided to try them out.. first i tried the texture paste, heat defence spray and the shine spray.. the texture paste is amazing if you have short layers that sometimes the kink just wont come out of! but you only need a tiny bit so be careful! secondly is the heat defence spray,  didn't think this was as good as the TRESeme one as it made my hair a bit greasy if i put too much on, my favourite of the three is the shine spray especially after ive straightened my hair, it looks incredible! recently ive been using a protein spray buy Toni and  guy because i back comb my hair allot and it is amazing ive noticed my hair isnt as dry and is thicker especially at the roots! ive posted a picture of the protein protection mist as there is a few and if anyone wants to buy it you can see what it looks like..

Avon makeup review!

hi, this one is a request from someone! Avon make up that I have used has always been fine there primers are really good! the only downside is colours don't always come like they look on the page so I'd recommend that if you are stuck between 2 shades go for the lighter as they can be paler when on the skin, and If you can sending back items obviously takes time, but on the whole I've had really good experiences with their lipsticks! They don't bleed or run & they last a long time :)

Primer Review!

Soooooo i absolutely love primers ANY foundation will work loads better with a primer on underneath! ive tested loadsssssss and narrowed it down to three that i just cant choose between, if youve got the cash then id recommend smashbox cosmetics primers and skin correctors, they are allot of money however they are really good, to find your skin type just go to any smashbox makeup counter (there is one in debenhams in the bullring) and ask them to analyse your skin and they will show you the primers, then there is rimmel's new primer, which works amazingly with the rimmel 25hour foundation that i blogged about before this one, and at only around £6.99 and a 3 for 2 offer at boots then you cant go wrong! the third primer is benefit's that gyal primer, it feels more like a moisturiser and has a slight pinky glow to it so if you dont wear foundation but your skin need a little pick me up then go for this one! it gives a lovley finish however is expensive at around £21.50 a time!

Rimmel foundation review!

Recently ive been testing out loads of different foundations everything from the high end products such as mac foundations to the 2.99 ones at the chemist! and of all of them this is my absolute favourite, ok so it doesnt actually last 25hours but with a good primer (il do another blog about them) it is amazing, i dont like shiny foundation, but at the same time i hate powdery matte foundations so this one is perfect! and its less than £10 id highly recommend this! i wear fake tan and so i have to buy a darker foundation and its not orange or too pale and blends really well, wether you use a brush, sponges or your fingers!
and at the moment all rimmel products are 3for2 at boots click the link below to buy yours! :)
